Preparing for your visit
We are delighted to welcome you to our campus. To ensure you have a comprehensive experience, please plan for your visit to take approximately 2 hours, including the time spent at Mass.
Getting there

The Tour Begins with Mass
The tour starts promptly at the noon mass at Christ the King Parish in Kansas City, Missouri.

Parking and Entrance
Please refer to the map below for specific details regarding where to park, the location of the main entrance to the church nave, and the doors to enter the church building.

Meeting Location
Immediately following mass, please meet me at the back of the church near the main entrance to the building.
What to expect out of the tour
Our visit is structured to give you a full picture of student life and academic standards.
- Mass: The noon mass typically lasts about 25 minutes.
- Information Packet: You will receive a packet containing detailed information about the academy, including a preview of the handbook for the upcoming academic year.

Academy Overview & Student Quiz: Immediately following mass, we will gather at the tables in the narthex. We will review general information about the academy, and your student will take a basic quiz to assess middle school knowledge.
View Sample Quiz - Curriculum Overview: Curriculum for all four years will be available for review. I will highlight some of the more important aspects of each year's study.
- Campus Walkthrough: We will take a walking tour of the building to see the classrooms, gymnasium, and library.
- Future of SASC: I will share the vision for the academy and discuss the exciting campus expansion we are currently working on.
- Classroom Visit: At 1:55 pm, we will step into a classroom for a few minutes to experience a class in progress.
After the tour
We will follow up with you via a post-visit survey and provide additional information regarding the next steps. These steps depend on the age of your student and your continued interest in St. Athanasius and St. Catherine’s Academy.
If you decide to move forward with a deposit, then we will be working on a date and time for a meet and greet event in the month of May with the teaching staff and other families.
